(TORONTO) — The artwork of Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt made its debut in Toronto’s downtown core on October 21st, 2021, with an immersive digital experience. The symbolist style emphasizes emotions rather than the physical world.
Following the footsteps of the popular Immersive Van Gogh and Beyond Monet, Immersive Klimt transports audiences into Klimt’s work using his paintings accompanied by music. The exhibit follows COVID-19 protocols, including a new vaccine mandate in which all visitors must be fully vaccinated to attend.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit,” said a visitor who wished not to be on camera.
The exhibit was created by Italian digital artist Massimiliano Siccardi, who also authored Immersive Van Gogh. As well as composer Luca Longobardi, animator Vitorio Guidotti, and producers Corey Ross, Svetlana Dvoretsky, and Slava Zheleznyakov in partnership with Lighthouse Immersive.
The exhibit is on now with a basic ticket priced at CA$35.
