The US and the UK held their elections for their next leaders on July 4 and Nov. 5 of this year. Although the two countries have vastly different political systems and voted in different leaders, they do share some similarities in terms of public opinion regarding politics, and predictions for what lies ahead.

We spoke to a political science lecturer and a member of the public in London about their thoughts on how the two elections compare, and how they believe the two leaders will effect change in both countries going forward.
