Cheers to Fall In New York: The Brooklyn Wine Fest Returns

(BROOKLYN, NY) If there is one way to warm up as New York City cools downs, it’s with a glass of wine.

The Brooklyn wine festival returned to New York City Saturday October 9th, after taking a year off due to the COVID-19 restrictions.  The event was held at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

Hundreds of people wine hopped from vendor to vintner, tasting wines from all over the world.

One winemaker’s naturally blue wine was a real eyecatcher.   Coviello Salines created Amour Geneve, a unique naturally blue wine.  He sold more than a hundred bottles during this one-day event.

Crowds gathered as Coviello used his background in biochemistry and petroleum engineering to break down the wine’s composition.  His inspiration is his late father.

“My father always told me about blueprint, regardless of what you do in this world our blueprint is either going to guide you, guide other people or allow others to be inspired to do something better, that’s how your blueprint if left.”

Festival tickets sold for $15 for designated drivers, $60 for general admission.  All CDC COVID rules were in effect and all attendees had to provide proof of vaccination at the door.
