Nura Muhammad, a student athlete from Scottsdale, Arizona, grew up with the mentality of sports training her entire life. With an extensive volleyball career, to transition as a division 1 track athlete, attending top universities in the country being University of Oklahoma for her undergrad and UCLA for her graduate degree, Muhammad has gained a stellar track record for proving herself as a powerful force in the sports world.

As she navigates life after college, Muhammad has gained the knowledge to help her grow her own health and wellness businesses.  That effort is now benefiting young athletes. With a degree in Health Administration, Muhammad is determined to be a force of change for anyone looking to take care of their bodies and their mental health as well, by creating positive-minded experiences in the sports world.

Lace Up to Fight Hunger: Center for Food Action Hosts 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk

The Center for Food Action (CFA) hosted its 4th annual 5K run/walk at Overpeck County Park on Saturday, May 3. Over 200 people participated in the race, donating money to CFA to help prevent food insecurity in northern New Jersey.
