(CAIRO) — Silvana Emad, the creator of Narmer Palette, an adult art space named for an ancient Egyptian artifact,  always had a passion for art as a way to disconnect from her busy job as a professional marketer. During the pandemic lockdown, Emad noticed that many people were tired both mentally and physically.

After people were able to meet in public places, Emad began to develop the Narmer Palette idea. She started in a small area in downtown Cairo, Egypt, at Kemet House, which became her first successful event. After that, Narmer Palette grew into a larger community hosting events in cafes, open-concept spaces, and more.

Emad also uses Narmer Palette to connect with people, encourage socialization, and help them enjoy the events. Many people who joined once are returning, especially when the event is close to their area.
