Benjamin Mack-Jackson

Orlando, Fla.

Benjamin Mack-Jackson is an Orlando, Florida-based journalist for the Click and a master’s student in journalism at NYU. He has interviewed nearly 400 WWII veterans, reported from Ukraine, and founded the WWII Veterans History Project, producing a documentary, a book, and museum exhibitions.

Nicario Jimenez’s retablos are world famous. One even resides in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian.

Winter Park Hosts 52nd Annual Autumn Art Festival

Crowds packed downtown Winter Park in October for the 52nd Annual Autumn Art Festival, one of the city’s most beloved and historic traditions. Under blue skies and a canopy of trees, artists from across Florida filled Park Avenue and Central Park to showcase their craft and creativity.

Winter Park Resident Awarded Congressional Gold Medal for WWII Service

John Raaen, an 103-year-old Winter Park resident, was honored with the Congressional Gold Medal for his distinguished service as an Army Ranger during World War II.
