As a long time Journalist, Emilee carries a deep love for pop culture, anything new on Netflix, and shockingly politics. She is currently working as Editor-in-Chief for DIG Magazine and Northwestern Louisiana Reporter for The Center Square. She is a former Entertainment Writer for EntertainmentNOW. Her areas of specialization are entertainment and local news, but she’ll never shy away from a good story. Over the course of her career, she’s reported on politics, musicians, food, entertainment ranging from celebrities to hit TV shows, and even academics.
Her work has appeared in Houstonia Magazine, Bookstr, inRegister, DIG Magazine, The Center Square, EntertainmentNOW, AOL, KTBS, the Virginia Woolf Miscellany, and others.
She received her M.A. in English from Georgia State University, and is currently pursuing her second M.A. in Journalism at New York University.
