(MONTCLAIR, NJ) Miriam Reimer is a pottery instructor at Mud Clay Studio, working at the Montclair and Madison locations in New Jersey.

She discovered her love for pottery at a young age and was first introduced to it in high school, but she unexpectedly paused her pottery journey for 15 years. Reimer rediscovered her passion when she decided to take a class with friends and realized, “this was where I was supposed to be all along.” About seven or eight years ago, she met Melanie Tomaszewski, the owner of Mud Clay Studio, and began taking her classes. Now, Reimer teaches everything from beginner to advanced pottery classes, encouraging her students to create whatever their imaginations desire. The pottery instructor says it may not be easy at first but, “everyone has their own style and taste and skill, and I find it really inspiring just to see what everybody else is creating.”
