Collectibles is a local gift shop in El Paso, Texas that has been in business for over 40 years. Vicky Leanos, a store employee, shared what makes the shop a unique treasure.

“Somebody comes in. We welcome them with our spirit more than anything first,” said Leanos. “Of course, we have the best coffee in town. Some people you know even when they say no, they end up leaving with pounds of coffee.”

Each store employee greets the customer with a smile and asks if they would like a cup in addition to offering a sample of tasty treats. Leanos has worked with Collectibles for over 29 years and brings everyday joy to her customers.

“It’s been a blessing,” said Leanos. “I love people. When you love people, you just… I’m still here because of customer service. It’s what we do, and what we really like people to know why we’re here.”

The El Paso gift shop has some holiday-inspired treats in store for this Christmas season. Leanos elaborated on what the customers loved best.

“They love our ornaments,” said Leanos. “Our ornaments are very, very unique. We go from fun to religious, and for kids. We have for every taste.”

While they sell unique bath and body products, candles, gourmet coffees, and candy, the highlight of Collectibles is their support for local artists.

“Since we’re local, we like to get all together. We have [artists such as] Candy Mayer [and] other artists from here. That’s an important thing that when you go on Google you know where to come.”

Collectibles also has a great collectable of greeting cards and personalized gift wrapping service available at any price point for the customer.
