Vaccinations are extremely important when considering measles prevention. More than 420 cases have been recorded across Texas since January, primarily in northwestern counties where vaccination exemption rates are high.

Local cheer and dance coach, Osho’Ria Ricks, is taking new precautions with her students. She encounters over 100 young girls per week and encourages her students to sanitize often and wear masks.
