(NEW YORK) — Looking for a unique activity in New York City? Wick and Pour invites you to craft your own custom candle and scent at their NoLita studio on Mott Street or their West Village studio on Bleecker Street, with prices starting at $50.

“Instead of just selling candles, we sell the experience of making candles with everybody,” said Denise Coronel, the operations manager at Wick and Pour.

Alongside fellow instructor Madelyn Snyder, Coronel guides guests through the art of candle-making, blending creativity and connection.

Snyder believes the experience is perfect for those seeking something different from usual outings in the city.

“I feel like so much of New York City culture typically ends up being, going out for drinks, going out for dinner, shows, and things like that, so I feel this new wave of DIY things coming in, has been nice for people because it is just something different to do which is fun and creative too,” she said.
