Shirley lives in San Diego, California and is very passionate about writing. She began her journalism career as an Opinion Columnist, for The Daily Californian News paper, writing about her experience as a Plus Size Model. She graduated spring of 2020 with an English and Creative Writing Bachelors degree from UC Berkeley. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in American Journalism at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
