CK Smith is a writer and educator from Tampa, currently teaching high school journalism, creative writing, and musical theatre and serving as newspaper and yearbook adviser. She began her journalism career as founder and editor-in-chief of her high school paper and earned degrees in Mass Communications and English Literature.
CK relies on experiences in education administration, as the owner of an events planning company, and as a freelance writer. She maintained a daily sports blog, copy edited projects like dissertations, depositions, and training manuals, and created her own stories.
She plans to use her NYU education to focus on long-form feature writing.
