Michael McILwee is an award-winning producer, and journalist, with a background in storytelling that spans both news media and the performing arts. He worked as the executive digital producer for the capital CBS news station in Florida, where he helped the station win an FABJ award in 2022. Before his journalism career, Michael traveled the world as a professional dancer and performer in Broadway musicals, which sparked his deep interest in global politics and the stories of diverse communities. He holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The New School.
