Los Angeles Animal Services Celebrates Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month

LA City Shelters can see an intake of more than ten thousand dogs each year.  And in recent years, many shelters have faced the burden of overcrowding due to dogs not being spayed or neutered, the owners moving and even large litters of puppies. But dog adoption rates have remained pretty consistent because of the city's community and shelter events like this month's October Adoption Events.
